  • originally launched in Le Havre, FRA in 1913, built by the Albert Paumelle shipyard after design by Alexandre Pâris.
  • used as pilot cutter and as fishing-boat in the Bay of Biscay, carried the Royal Mail across the Atlantic.
  • 1923 bought by Evelyn George Martin, refitted for the use as private yacht and for racing.
  • won the first famous ocean race Fastnet in 1925.
  • 1926 5th in der Bermuda race and awarded the Blue Water Medal.
  • since 1927 new owner W. Ferrier and W.B. Smith.
  • since 1928 new owner Bobby Somerset.
  • 1928 2nd in der Fastnet Race.
  • 1929 and 1930 winner of the Fastnet Race.
  • 1932 rescue of thge crew of "Adriana", awarded the Blue Water Dedal, sold then to Lt. John Gage, 1934 purchased by the American Stanley Mortimer, used in the Mediterranean, 1938 purchased by W. Stannard.
  • for sale before the WWII in Southampton, during the War hidden and laid up in the mud of the river
  • 1945 first bought by Lillian and Jim Worsdell, renamed the "Pleasant Breeze" and should be moved to New Zealand, but sold in Portugal to Luis Lobato, refitted and renamed the "Jolie Brise" again, registerred in Lisbon, PO.
  • 1977 purchased by the Dauntsey's School Sailing Club.
  • 1980, 1986 successful participation in the Tall Ships Race.
  • 1991-93 major refit of the ship.
  • 1993 first Fastnet Race since 1931.
  • 1994 circumnavigation of the United Kingdom, 1996 visit to Lisbon, 1997 voyage to the Arctic.
  • 1998, 1999 participation in Tall Ships Races.
  • successful participation in the Tall Ships Race 2000 crossing the Atlantic.
  • 2005 participation in national festivities including the re-enactment of the Battle of Trafalgar on the 200th Anniversary of the death of Lord Nelson.
  • successful participation in the Tall Ships Race 2006 and 2008.
  • 2009 participation in the Tall Ships Transatlantic Challenge, damage and lost of the top mast in a storm off the Irish coast, but finally winning the 2nd leg from Tenerife to Bermuda, and placed 1st in her class and overall.
  • 2011 overall winner of Tall Ships Series.
  • in June 2012 participation in the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant, a parade of 670 ships on the Thames in London as part of the celebrations of the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II.
  • 2013 celebration of 100th birthday and participation in the Fastnet Race and the ASTO Hammond Innes Small Ships race from Ipswich to Cowes.
  • 2015 overall winner of the Tall Ships Races 2015 through the Outer Hebrides and Shetland Islands to Ålesund.
  • 2016 visiting ports in Belgium, Portugal and Spain, successful participation in the ASTO small ships race.
  • 2017 participation in the International Rendez-vous Tall Ships Regatta, a transatlantic race visiting Portugal, Bermuda, North America, Canada and France.
  • took part in the Tall Ships Races 2018 from the UK to Denmark, Norway to the Netherlands.
  • 2019 visit of the Tall Ships Festival in Bergen and sailing the Norwegian Fjords and to the Shetland Islands, sailing on to the Faroe Islands and then on to Iceland and back home.
  • 2020, 2021 and 2022 successful participation in the ASTO Small Ships races again.
