  • built by the City of Osaka as the first and only tall-ship owned by a Japanese local government.
  • keel laid in June 1992, launched in November 1992 and completed until March 1993, start of her official sail training program in 1994, maiden voyage to Shanghai.
  • 1995 voyage to Guam, Fiji, New Zealand and Australia, participation in the Sail Indonesia 1995 (50th anniversary of independance of Indonesia), 1996 participation in the parade of the sail at the port of Tokyo, 1997 participation in the Sail Osaka, 1998 voyage to Shikoku, Kyushu and Seto Inland Sea supported by Nippon Foundation, 1999 circumnavigation of Japan supported by Nippon Foundation, she will take part in the Sail 2000 visiting the East coast of the US.
