  • she is one of the last big vessels built of oak and in traditional design, shipyard is J.-Ring Andersen in Svendborg, the first owner R.P. Soerensen used the motor coaster for voyages to Greenland, first name was "Mona".
  • caused by the vessel's construction and a ice plating the ship is able to navigate in Arctic waters.
  • 1953-64 owned by A.E. Soerensen and "Svendborg" became the new ship's name
  • 1964-76 owner E. Soerensen and registered in Hadsund/DK, 1968 renamed the "Activ", after 1976 several changes of the owner, finally the Baltic Schooner Company Ltd. based in St. Peter Port/Guernsey and later in London became the owner and operator.
  • between 1977-80 she was restored in Troense by Michael Kiersgaard in the order of the architect Volkwin Marg from Hamburg as a schooner with three masts and three topsails.
  • cruising in the North Sea and Baltic Sea, multiple crossings of the Atlantic to the Caribbean and to Newfoundland, used for filmwork for several series, among others for "Jack Holborn", the movie "America" directed by Sergio Leone, advertising campaign for Beck's Bier.
  • since 1999 "Activ" sails the Mediterranean in Spanish, Italian, Greek, Turkish and Dalmatian waters, registered in GBNK under British flag, homeported in London.
