- classic gaff-rigged Biloxi Schooner built by Biloxi shipwright Jack Covacavich in 1927, first name was "Helen", first owner was the family of Thomas Bayne Denegre, who used her for private sailing and racing in the Gulf of Mexico and Lake Ponchartrain, used as a family boat.
- used as Coast Guard sailing trainer during World War II.
- after the war used for private sailing again by several owners in the Gulf of Mexico
- 1959 owner Robert Wilson renamed her the "Lavengro" (lover of words).
- owners Leslie and Byram Bates brought her to Hawaii, sold to Peter Jones, after damages caused by a grounding and repairs she became a charter boat.
- shortly used in Southeast Alaskas as charter boat in the 1980s.
- donated to the Northwest Schooner Society, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the preservation and use of classic wooden sailing vessels.
- skippered by Captain Dierk Yochim she sails in Seattle on Lake Union, Lake Washington, and take periodic trips to the San Juan Islands.
- general overhaul of the hull in 2010.
