  • built at the August Albers shipyard in Finkenwerder/Hamburg in 1903
  • after the shipyard went bankrupt during building, the client, the fisherman J. Nikolaus Klper, himself arranged for completion of the cutter, sign was "HF 244", later "SS 94"
  • a 12 H.P. engine was fitted in 1912, shorten of masts plus a supporting sail to alleviate rolling motions
  • Klper's son fished the North Sea until 1952 and then sold the vessel to a Wilhelmshaven owner
  • used as a fishing research boat of the Senckenberg-Institut in Wilhelmshaven
  • bought by the "Schiffergilde Bremerhaven e.V." association in 1978 as the last ship of her kind, the aim of this organization is to restore and preserve historical sailing ships
  • based on old plans from the Hamburg Altona Museum, the ship was restored to her original state in 1979
  • used in cooperation with STA Germany for youth work
  • 1998 replacement of some planks of the hull, 2000 new deck and new mast
