  • built at the traditional Finnish yard of "Mariehamn" between 1990-93, lauched in August 1992, method of construction and name are the same as the 1920 schooner which was used as a cargo vessel between England and Finland.
  • 13 people from Åland initiated the building, now this boat embodies the idea of a harmonious blend of pure nature, natural energy, traditional craftsmanship, modern safety and complete comfort
  • under an experienced crew, the adventure tours bring the ship to harbours all over the world. The crew is also responsible for nautical training.
  • she won places 2 and 3 for the B class in the 1996 Baltic Race organized by the International Sail Training Association (ISTA).
  • using longstanding research and a document by King Waldemar II (1170 to 1241), scientists were able to reconstruct the old trading routes between Denmark and Reval ( today's Tallin), "Linden" sailed some of these routes in 1997.
  • participated the Hanse Sail Rostock in 2001, 2004 und 2005 and Kiel Week 2005.
