  • one of the largest private sailing yachts built after World War II
  • initially rigged as a topsail schooner, this vessel sailed mainly in the Mediterranean and along Western European coasts unber the name "Jessica" until 1987, changing owners several times.
  • renamed the "Schooner XXXX" in 1988 and registered in Freemantle (Australia)
  • after yet another change of owner, the rigging, interior, hull, rudder and engine were completely refitted and the vessel renamed the "Adix"
  • took part in the veteran yacht race from Nioulargue to St. Tropez in 1991 and 1992
  • then embarked on a round trip from the Caribbean to North America and Europe in an attempt to set a new speed record on the North-Atlantic route
