  • built as a schooner with a so-called "Newfoundland rig", i.e. a square foresail and an additional triangular jack topsail, at the shipyard of Otto Hansen, Stubbekøbing, DK, named the "Alta" and registered in Marstal, salting fish voyages to Newfoundland.
  • 1916 change of the owner and flag, new homeport became Christiania, today's Oslo, in Norway, renamed the "Sørkyst I", used for sealing and whaling in the Arctic, fitted with the first auxiliary engine.
  • 1928 change of the name to "Agnete" and homeport became Ålborg/DK, down-rigged to a galeasse and fitted with a stronger engine, stone-fishing, salving and transporting erratic boulders for the building industry
  • 1938 change of the owner and converted into a motor freigter for the Baltic Sea, renamed the "Elinor"
  • 1967 sold to the shipping company Seijlsips K/S "Alta", rebuilt into a charter yacht
  • charter yacht for the Danish social services from 1971, undertaking voyages with maladjusted youngsters
  • collided with a fishing boat during a tall ships race in the Baltic Sea in 1980, repair of the hull in a shipyard (Karlskrona)
  • has taken part in a large number of tall ships races and regattas, 1981 voyage to Jamaika with paying guests, participation in the TSR from Venezuela to Philadelphia, Newport, Lissabon, Vigo, Southhampton 1982, after that return voyage to the Virgin Islands
  • 1983-84 chartered by the Canadian social service "Cap Espoir" for youth work, 1984 participation in the sailing meeting of Quebec, after that return to Denmark.
  • 1985-86 she sailed to the Virgin Islands among other things for a film company
  • 1986 participation in the OpSail in New York.
  • 1989 overhaul in Cumaná, Venezuela, charter trips based on the Virgin Islands
  • "Elinor" was sabotaged at a dock in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida USA, cut loose and sank, and it was not possible to salvage her.
